André Tehrani (born 1980) is a Norwegian-Iranian artist based in Stockholm. He graduated from the MA-programme at the National Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo in May 2010 and had a one-year guest student residency at the Royal College of Fine Arts in Stockholm in the academic year of 2009 / 2010. He makes use of a variety of media – including drawing, text-based images, collage and sculpture – in works reflecting on popcultural iconography and the specialized language it generates.
As a writer he has published texts in D2 (weekend supplement for Norwegian newspaper Dagens Næringsliv) and Vinduet (Norwegian literary periodical published by Gyldendal Forlag).
